Everyone comes into our lives for a reason. Whether it is to show us what we can really do, or to make us feel emotions we thought we were incapable of feeling. Whether it is to bring out the worst in us for us know we can survive rock bottom, or to bring out the best for us to appreciate ourselves more. It doesn’t matter who they are and for how long they stay, what matters is how they made us feel. They prepare us for what we call our destiny. It could be a practical aloof sister that prepares you to deal with a similar partner, or nurturing and grounding parents that push you to work harder that prepare you for a demanding job, a free spirited daughter that helps her parents loosen up a little, a mature-than her-age friend that helps you to get yourself together, a child-like friend who fills you with warmth at the end of a dull day, a secretive friend that teaches you how to keep out of other people’s business, a stubborn friend that teaches you the virtue of patience, a treacherous person that makes you aware about the qualities you dislike, a person that teaches you to love, a chance meet that has a solution to the problems you have been trying to deal with for years.
It’s wonderful how someone can walk into your life without a warning and change the way you look at almost everything.
Be open to new people in life, the more you meet, the more you learn, about them, about the world and most importantly, about yourself.
